Youth Programs

The Clan Henderson Society is committed to engaging the next generation in Scottish heritage and culture. Our youth programmes provide opportunities for young people to explore their Henderson heritage, develop skills in traditional Celtic arts, and connect with other young Scots.

Our flagship youth programme offers scholarships to young people under 26 who are studying or practising Celtic arts including bagpiping, drumming, Highland dance, fiddling, Celtic harp, and related traditional arts. See the Scholarship Programme page for full details and how to apply.

Highland Games offer fantastic opportunities for young people to compete, perform, and learn about Scottish culture. The Society encourages youth participation at games across North America and supports young competitors through recognition in our newsletter and website.

Youth Commissioners work alongside Regional Convenors to bring the benefits of the Clan to young members at the local level. If you're a young Henderson (or know one) who would like to get involved, contact us!
